State of Emergency continues for Carriacou and Petite Martinique but discontinued for mainland Grenada as of July 2nd, 2024. The country fully open for business in mainland Grenada as of July 3rd, 2024. Schools closed for students until the end of the term on July 5th, 2024, teachers returned to work as of July 3rd, 2024.
A team visited Carriacou and Petite Martinique on July 2nd, 2024, which included the Prime Minister, National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA), Ministry of Health (MoH), Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF), National Water and Sewage Authority (NAWASA), Grenada Electricity Services Limited (Grenlec), Digicel and Flow. Cabinet Ministers viewed devastation in Carriacou and Petite Martinique on July 3rd, 2024.
