The UN Global Compact is a global initiative that mobilizes businesses and stakeholders to create a more sustainable and equitable world. By joining this network, PwC East Caribbean gains access to resources and expertise to embed sustainability into its core business operations. This commitment extends beyond PwC's own practices, as the firm aims to collaborate with stakeholders and clients to drive broader societal goals aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

"PwC East Caribbean's membership demonstrates the vital role of the private sector in achieving the SDGs and building a more resilient and sustainable future for the Caribbean," he remarked.
The Caribbean region faces unique challenges, including climate change, economic instability, and social inequalities. PwC East Caribbean recognizes the critical role businesses play in addressing these challenges.
"Climate disruption is a major concern for the Caribbean," Parker emphasized. "Hurricanes, floods, and extreme temperatures pose serious threats to our economies, communities, and environment. We believe businesses can be a force for good by implementing sustainable practices and collaborating to address these challenges."
PwC East Caribbean's membership in the UN Global Compact is a testament to its dedication to responsible business practices and its commitment to building a more sustainable future for the region.
