United Nations Barbados and Eastern Caribbean 2025 Annual Results Report
The year 2025 marked a decisive period for Eastern Caribbean as our Member States continued to navigate a complex landscape shaped by climate vulnerability, global economic shifts, and the ongoing imperative to safeguard hard-won development gains. Across this dynamic region, the United Nations family worked in partnership with governments, development partners, civil society, youth, the private sector, and communities to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
This year, our cooperation framework and country implementation plans continued to guide integrated, evidence-driven, UN support—anchored in national priorities and shaped by the voices of people across the Eastern Caribbean. Whether through advancing climate adaptation initiatives, strengthening justice and governance institutions, widening social protection systems, or supporting investments for inclusive growth, the UN development system continued to deliver more coherently and effectively as One UN.
"As we look ahead, 2026 will demand even stronger partnerships, deeper innovation, and continued solidarity. The Eastern Caribbean has repeatedly shown that its greatest strength lies in its people and its collective resolve. The United Nations remains fully committed to walking this path with you - supporting resilience, championing inclusion, and ensuring that no one is left behind."
